Pasta Maria Rosa Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup My Brother's Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 medium onion; chopped
- 1/8 cup crushed red pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 - 28 oz can Isola Peeled San Marzano Tomatoes
- 1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese
- 1 lb Isola Gourmet Penne Rigate Pasta
Preparation Instructions
- Start by sautéing onions and red pepper in My Brother's Olive Oil; add tomatoes(add about 1/2 cup of water to can, swirl to gather all pulp, add to mix), salt to taste. Simmer for 1/2 hour.
- While ingredients saute', in another pot bring to boil 1 lb. of Isola Gourmet Pasta. Cook till al dente, drain, and combine pasta, butter, cheese, breadcrumbs and parsley to saute' mix and cook for another two minutes.
- Top off with My Brother's Olive Oil, plate and serve hot.
